I have said it before and I'll say it again. This has the potential to be a disaster. He has been socialized and therefore tolerates humans. But as he becomes and 10 - 14 foot gator things will change. Right now the animals he interacts with are much larger and he is probably kept fed. I would hate to see what happens when he becomes a much larger animal. He is a predatory animal and has a reptilian brain. He responds to simuli. I hope this does not go south one day in the future, because that will be a very sad & tragic turn of events. I hope I am wrong.

I have a feeling Wally wasn't released in the wild. The tamed behavior of the alligator is one in a million,. The owner should have known this. It only means his pet comes with a hefty price tag. Being released in the wild was a cover up. That alligator is in some else's home. 1. By a billionaire who wanted that alligator for his personal collection so bad he paid for the kidnappers 2. Gov't who wants to study Wally. Showing his emotion on video means interested parties would have no chance acquiring his alligator. Acquiring it illegally would be the only way to go
